The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase 1-36-24-02-02-61 debuted in 2023 as a refined addition to the Senator Excellence collection, combining classic German watchmaking with a contemporary moon phase display and signature Panorama Date. Housed in a 40mm stainless steel case with polished and satin-brushed finishing, this reference is fitted with a blue Louisiana alligator leather strap secured by a fold fastener. The galvanic grey dial features applied Roman numerals in blued solid gold, complemented by blued steel hour and minute hands. The date is displayed via Glashütte Original’s signature Panorama Date at 4 o’clock, while the moon phase sits harmoniously at 10. Powering the watch is the Glashütte Original calibre 36-24, an automatic movement with a silicon balance spring, a 100-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 4 Hz. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement is decorated with Glashütte striping, polished steel parts, blued screws, and a skeletonized rotor with double-G logo. The engraved “Q” hallmark indicates the movement has passed the brand’s 24-day in-house excellence testing protocol.
